If you are having a party, relax and enjoy it... Let Hot Coals cater your party with no mess and no fuss! Our mobile catering team can set up prior to your guests' arrival and leave quietly after we finish serving, leaving no sign that we were ever there except for satisfied bellies!

Our hot and tasty, authentic wood-fired pizzas are cooked fresh in our mobile pizza oven and are always popular. Pizza slices make fabulous finger food for parties but we can also serve whole pizzas. Combine either of these with our savoury starters (e.g. Spinach & Fetta pastries) and desserts (e.g. Apple Crumble dessert pizza and Lemon Cheesecake) to provide a tasty, satisfying 3-course lunch or dinner.

We have all the popular toppings: Garlic, Margarita, Mushroom, Hawaiian, Capriccioso, Vegetarian, BBQ Meat Lovers... as well as gourmet varieties (e.g. Pumpkin & Fetta, Tandoori Chicken and Moroccan Lamb) and you can even design your own from our list of available toppings. We also have wholemeal, Vegan-Friendly and gluten-free options.

All our catering staff are conscientious with regard to hygiene and safe food practices. Although our prices are low (you may notice we are cheap in comparison to another caterer), we set our standards high and take pride in our catering service and all food served.

Our Catering Service Options (may be combined):

  • PIZZA BUFFET
  • Labelled platters of pre-ordered freshly wood-fired and sliced Pizzas are topped up as required (up to 100 pizzas per hour).
  • ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT
  • Our Pizza Buffet, but charged per person rather than per pizza.
  • WAITER SERVICE
  • Slices of freshly woodfired pizzas are offered to your guests as finger food along with serviettes, or whole pizzas are served to seated guests (up to 100 pizzas per hour and up to 3 waiters - max. 40 pizzas/waiter/hour).
  • COUNTER SERVICE
  • Pre-ordered pizzas are cooked when requested (up to 80 per hour).
  • PIZZA BAR
  • A pre-ordered quantity of pizzas are freshly topped on request and cooked within 3 minutes (up to 7 different toppings; up to 60 pizzas per hour).
  • MAKE-YOUR-OWN
  • We supply the pizza bases, you supply and add the toppings, and we cook them for you. This works great for kids' parties. (Up to 80 pizzas per hour).

Paper plates & serviettes are provided, plates & cutlery may be hired, and boxes may be purchased.


Our standard trailer-mounted wood-fired pizza oven measures 3m long x 1.7m wide and 1.8m high without the removable flue. We can deliver anywhere our utility truck (5.5m long x 1.9m wide x 2.2m high) can tow it, but can also move it short distances by hand on level, solid surfaces. We also need a 3m x 3m work-area in which to set up our tables (and our marquee if necessary).
